We are always calling our pets funny names. If you do too, let us know so we don't feel stupid...

We had a cat that we named Ferret - because when she found us, she was so emaciated that she looked like a long skinny ferret. Her mid section was sucked which made it look arched like a ferret. Her face all skinny and squinchy small. The poor baby was obviously a stray that was starving. We took her in and got her vetted and fed.
She was a healthy cat who as just starving. She started to look like a cat after a short while. Then we found her a good home. She is beautiful now.

We have several nicknames for our animals! We call our kitten Binx, Chief Justice Kitty, don’t really remember how it came up, but Chief Justice Kitty makes several rulings a day in our house, mainly for more kitty food! We call our dog George, Georgie Porgie, because he’s a big face licker so we say he kissed the girls and made them cry.
I call my cat Sammy, my Moo Moo because he’s never been able to meow, it comes out as a little chirp moo.

I come up with names alot my 13# Bailey eats kleenex so I call him Bailey goat, or pup cake, princess (he doesn't like to get his feet wet). Tony is part poodle and always has a bad hair day, thus Tony Poodle, and snores so, Tonysnorus. They just love attention by any name

We call Abbey PEANUT because she was only 2 pounds when we got her so we started calling her peanut and it stuck. I think lots of people have nick names for there pets.
