Can ulcers in horses cause diarhea?

My upper level horse got really bad diarhea after being in a vet clinic for 2 weeks for an eye infection. At the same time he began to get really grumpy. I treated him for ulcers and the diarhea and grumpiness got better. The vets at the clinic, however, said ulcers dont cause diarhea. The same situation has happened again. Any one know if ulcers can cause diarhea?

I dodn't know if ulcers can cause diarrhea, but that diarrehea is a symptom of an upset digestive system or stress. The stress of being at the clinic can cause ulcers. Grumpiness is a symptom of a horse with ulcers. The new product that I am using with Kallie is called Stomach Soother. I now have a horse that is comfortable and willing to work hard!
