I would agree with other answers--getting a second kitten to give your kitten a playmate. Most likely they will play with each other and wear each other out, therefore not attacking you.

Kittens can have a short attention span, anytime your kitten attacks something you don't want him/her to, just distract it with something else. They like to play and hunt.. just lead it to what you would rather it play with

It sounds like your kitten is just being a kitten. You should delight in his playful behavior; it sounds like he's healthy and happy.

it's part of being a kitten..he's still in the kitten stage, it's normal...

Hello! I would make sure you offer plenty of toys to chose from. I use a basket on the floor to contain them and also offer a scratch pad. These might distract him from attacking. Kittens are naturally curious and want to pounce and play. The squirt gun or a loud clap or noise can be used to discourage him if the attack is hurtful or really not okay. You don't want him to become afraid or fearful of contact either. Hope any of this helps!

The suggestion of another kitten is a very good suggestion. Also the squirt bottle. Your kitten is carrying on as s/he wants to play, an ds/he IS a kitten.

I think playing with the kitten a lot and getting him a lot of safe kitten toys will help decrease this behavior, but I think the behavior will continue until he gets a bit older.

Get him a kitten. They will focus all of that normal and natural cat behavior on each other.
Good Luck

This is normal for a kitten. Once your kitten is spayed/neutered, it will lose many of these bad habits. Good luck with your new addition!
