Do you leave your dog alone all day or are you using a walker or Doggy Day Care?

I leave my dog alone during the day when no one is home. She gets to go for a very long walk as soon as we get home, and one of us always plays with her several times a night to make sure she gets enough exercise. She also goes for a short walk in the morning, and plays in the backyard a lot. When we are out of town, we usually leave her with family members. I would hate to board her.

No, I have been to a few and I am just not happy about all the dogs playing together. Some dogs are not well behaved and I am concerned they may be hurt. I have small dogs, they are not at all tuff! When I am not home, I have someone come in and take them out. They have each other, so I don't worry about them being lonely.

We have a professional dog walking service come in at noon to take them out for a group walk. They look forward to it everyday. Makes them happy pups and we don't have accidents in the kitchen. We get home pretty late from work everyday too. It is a little costly -$16 a day for two, but it is worth it, otherwise they would be neglected doggies. They also are required to be up to date on vaccines.

I leave my dog at home, but every day when we get home we take him for a long walk and give him lots of attention. We can't afford to hire a baby sitter or leave him somewhere.
