I don't even know if this is an option, due to it's another country you're flying to, not a state.
I'd reccommend leaving your pet at a pet hotel retreat or daycare facility.

as much as you love your dog, leave it in the US. don't risk taking it to south america. just don't!

i would not recommend taking your dog unless it was a country like Canada, France, Germany, etc. Alot of these countries have a quarantine period that can be as long as 6 months. And for Guantamala, even if you are up to date on shots, since most dogs there would not have their shots, there is a significantly greater risk to your dog.

I would make sure that before flying you take your dog to your vet and let him or her know that you are flying overseas. Also, be certain that your dog is current on all his or her shots and in good medical condition to fly.
