I have 2 beautiful cats that I've been trying to photograph together for my Christmas cards. I've never done this before and now I know why. They don't want any part of this. Once the camera comes out, they're gone. I could take a picture of them under my bed, but I really don't want that on my Christmas cards. Any tips on how to get their cooperation? Thanks!

I get mine while they are sleeping or after they have just woken up and are still out of it. I've gotten some really cute pictures this way.

If you want them together and facing the camera you could try tying their favorite treat on clear fishing line and hang it from where you want to take their pic. Let them go at the same time over by the treats and have someone snap the pic quick.

We have friends and family members hold the kitties - draft cute kids of friends perhaps?

Catnip and baby food gets mine to do wonders!

Get some catnip and put it on the floor or in front of the fireplace (not too close if it's lit) and it should attract them. It's not like you'll get them posing like this but at least you'll get them together! Good Luck!

Try giving them a treat or a very small portion of wet cat food where you want them to be. Let them finish thier yummy surprise and then try to snap the pic. I can tell you though from experience it's not easy. You have to be very patient with them and move slowly. Any quick sudden moves they will proably take of and you may not see them until Christmas. LOL! Good Luck.

Most of the pictures I have of my cats together are when one or more of them is sleeping. Or you could try keeping your camera with you at all times and wait for them to settle.
