Yes, and be aware that when it does, it leaves a gaping security hole. Anyone can access your computer processes when it is in that state. I switch to Firefox from IE when that happens. Good web developers make sites that work for both. These kids here do not know how to do that and still keep their many money ads with the badly working scripts. More bells and whistles coming they promise us with the original bugs still remaining. The new american way I guess. Web sites AOL style.

If you experiment, you will see that even if you close down the intitially freezing browser, the processes stay open, and you stay logged on. Even if you go to another browser, and sometimes, even if you are able to shut down the first one and go back to log out. I have logged out of IE after hard closing it out of a freeze and logged out, but coming back later after using Firefox, I am still logged into this site in IE. Now that does not happen every time. I'd say about one out of 10 times on my system. Last night I went to Firefox after freezing in IE and I was still logged on this morning in IE. If someone were to have access to your system physically, they could log on as you. If they are monitoring your processes remotely, they can do the same. If you use a public computer you are completely vulnerable to someone coming on as you. Very insecure and completely unnessary to put users through that nonsense. This site opens more processes than are necessary during use. A security risk. Some have reported viruses after clicking on some ads, although I have not experienced that because I am not here to click on ads.

Another thing I have noticed only when visiting this site is something tries to take over my IP address assignment. Like a man in the middle attack. Which is when either a server or client acts as another. A non-legitimate entity tries to act as either a legitimate server or client. They place themselves in the middle of the info exchange and can monitor or do just about anything they like with that connection. I have software that alerts me to such things. Chances are, you will not see that this is happening if you don't. I intend to install more sensitive monitoring software and see if I can't pinpoint who is trying to hijack my connection from this site. Nothing they have on here makes that kind of thing legit. Nothing! Use it at your own risk. Be aware many have posted of computer issues after visiting here.

I was having some trouble on my dial up connection at home, but then last night after I hit the submit button and the screen just sat there and sat there with that greyed out look, I hit the back arrow button and then my journal showed up. Not sure if it was coincidence or not.

Yes, I hit submit and nothing happens. The journal is then lost! I learned now to copy it before I submit it! I would say one in three do not submit and I have to redo them. It happens with photos and videos too, but most times they do post even with the freeze up.
