Any home remedies for a 9 year old rott with spinal stenosis and hip dysplasia.

Shasta is 9 years old, she takes Previcox 1 pill every other day and a dasoquin daily. The medications do help.
She still seems to have trouble getting up and wants to lay most of the time (unless she sees her leash or a tennis ball, then she wants to play). I am wondering if anyone knows of something I could do for her at home, like a heating pad or an Ice pack on her lower back?
