I would like your opinion on a new web site I just built

I moved from Lake Tahoe Calif. Where I performed many dog weddings. I owned a dog grooming shop and dog resort. I started doing dog weddings about 8 yrs ago. I now live in Kentucky in a small town, Dog weddings are new to them and will take some time to get rolling. But dog weddings are making news all over the world. So I started a web site for the Do it yourself party planner. And will soon host virtual dog weddings on this site. I would like your opinion. please visit www. GoodDogWedding.com

around here, hearing about "pets" and "the latest craze" in the same sentence is seldom good news. it usually ends a short time later with lots of pets that were purchased as fashion accessories being dumped.

it may be less an issue of "small town" and "new to them" than it is an issue of "more important things to spend money on, especially in a recession". if i had that kind of money, i'd spend it buying the best food i could find for my pets and donating to local pet-related charities, not on a "wedding" for my pets. still, within a reasonable budget, it could be a good and humorous excuse to get together and have a good time with friends, both human and 4-legged. my advice: if you donate any of the money you make off of "dog weddings" to any good, pet-related causes, make it known on your site. some people who would otherwise look at a "dog wedding" as a ridiculous waste of money might feel differently if they knew that it would also benefit pets in need. and if you don't currently have a policy of donating a certain % to pet charities, i suggest you adopt one. it would be good for pets and your business too, and might even gain you a little free publicity and advertising.

i guess it could be fun, i do have a thing for silly parties. what i don't understand though is why someone would pay for this. i mean, couldn't they do it themselves for free? and even have wedding pictures and a marriage certificate done for cheap?

other questions:

what if it doesn't work out, can they have a doggie divorce?

does this service also apply to same sex marriages?

...what about polygamist pups?

is this limited to just dogs, or can cats and birds and other species be wed as well?

and what if the marriage is between a dog and a cat? and of the same sex? {my recently deceased kitty, who was a girl, had a thing for my female dog...i could see those two getting hitched...}

I doin't know if I'm just being weird for telling you this but at the top of your website it says "If your pets in love..." and there should be an apostrophe in pet's, or it should be 'if your pets are in love'. Sorry I just thought I should let you know.
