north dakota state university currently employs the use of live pigs in their advanced trauma life support courses. while hundreds have switched to the traumaman system, 15 universities in the united states still use live animal training.
please send a brief message to the president of the north dakota state university asking him to end the use of live pigs in their ATLS courses and to switch to ethical, cruelty free alternatives.

pigs are used b/c being a mammel, structure and functions are like that of other mammals, including people. however, using live pigs is unnecessary and even irrelevant b/c pigs are not humans and therefore not an accurate simulation of one. the traumaman system was designed to replicate the human body and functions, making it a better alternative to the cruelty these pigs face.
