I have a male and female cockatiel that just had babies. When they are done I want to put them into separate cages so they don't have anymore babies. If I decide to keep one of their babies, do I need to find a separate cage for that bird too or can I place the new bird (once matured) in one of the other cages I already have with one of their parents?

if you don't want anymore babies you will have to seperae them. if you keep a baby you can but it into the cage that holds the same sex. if you let them out you need to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't breed. good luck
