Q: Why won't zootoo pay last year's shelter winner?

Before you vote for your favorite shelter, be aware that zootoo has not paid last year's winner, Stray Rescue of St. Louis, but has asked them to send zootoo money to cover miscellaneous design fees. Sounds likes a scam to me!!!!!

I'm not sure where that information came from, but I have been following Stray Rescue's website for some time now and zootoo has helped them demolish their previous building and get the new building ready to go. The owner of Stray Rescue has even stated that the zootoo money is not even close to covering all the things that need to be done to get his shelter up and running. I hope that zootoo can clear up any confusion you and any other members have had.

Because they don't actually have the money. They want to run the contests then put pressure on local contractors to do it "for the exposure." It's a huge scam that allows them to rake in money for themselves and leave these shelters out in the cold. I find it pathetic.
