Q: Why won't our baby beardie eat veggies?

January 25, 2012 | By Loveourbeardies | 1 answer | Expired: 901 days ago

We have two adult beardies that we had no problems with. They ate and grew quite large. We decided to add to our family and purchased 2 more babies (kept in their own tank). Neither one grew more then 1" in 4 months. A couple of nights ago one of them had a grand Mal seizure and passed away. The other baby eats her crickets and occasional wax worms but will not eat any veggies or fruits placed in her cage. I know she should have tripled her size by now and we are concerned that we will lose her too. Help! What can we do?

I wonder if it could be sick the other day at petco there was a lizard on it's back not moving I went and told the closest employee and he opened it up we thought it was dead but he picked it up and it began moving he said it was sick and alot of the time when reptiles are sick it is very hard to save them other than that I am not sure!
