Q: Why don't my cats like their food anymore?

They have been eating this brand for at least 6 months and have always liked it just fine, but now it seems like they are always begging for more food, even though the dish is full. Is it possible we just got a bad batch or something? Or are they asking for something else?

They could be getting bored with it. My cats will often refuse a brand if they've been eating it for awhile. I usually have to buy three different brands and change it up regularly to keep them happy.

My cats are on special food and sadly there is no other choice. I think cats get bored with certain types of food just like people. Would you want to eat chicken every day?

It could be either one. Our cats like a variety of brands. When they ask their Daddy for a different food, they get it. When they ask me for something different, I tell them when they have eaten what is on the dish, I will give them something else and they usually eat it. And sometimes they just want one of us to sit on the floor and watch them eat because they don't like to eat alone.
