Q: Why does my lab sit and stare at the wall?

January 20, 2013 | By Jmierez | 1 answer | Expired: 690 days ago

My lab/chow mix dog is 7 yrs old and is pretty healthy. Has all characteristics of a lab very sweet and good natured. We've been noticing that her sight has been giving her trouble from time to time. Mostly at night as she doesn't like to go out in the dark. Lately during the day she randomly sits and stares at various walls for about a minute or so. When we snap her out of it, trpicay by calling her name, she just goes about her business as normal. Any idea as to she she would be doing this?

This doesn't sound like something to be concerened about but Shorty my cat will do this for alot longer and Skitters use to look at the ceiling and get scared in her older years when there was nothing there I think there is a possibity that they can see things that we can't and and they might be seeing ghosts I know this sounds silly but I believe that Shorty could be seeing ghosts there use to be odd things that would happen in my house like stuff moving and falling off of walls no one moved it or knocked it down and there was some one who passed on in my house so it is possible that your dog has begun to see ghosts!
