Every time I give Shiloh ice cubes, she throws up within 5 minutes. Is this normal?

It might just be because of how cold it is and that might upset his stomach causing him to throw up to get the coldness out.

My dog eats ice but she never trows up afterword's but it is possible that when the coldness get's to her stomach it surprises it so much that it happens.

I know your dogs might like ice cubs but STOP giving them. They can choke so easy then what? My human daughter choked on one when she was young, she did not like the hot water that fallowed. Her & I were licky. I freeze large amounts of ice for my dogs dish in the summer but take the ice out when it gets small.

My dogs love ice cubes, but they never throw up after. I have never heard of this before.

Our dogs have always enjoyed ice cubes and we've never had a problem. Therefore, I agree with the others in as much as I would stop feeding the ice cubes. You might want to mention this to your vet the next time you take your dog in as there may be some underlying problem.

I'd have to say it's not normal to feed dogs ice cubes!

My dog does too. She has IBS and has been on special meds for some time. Be careful not to give her anymore. I don't

It may not be normal for most dogs...but it sounds like it's the norm for your dog, so I would stop feeding them to her. It's not like they add to her daily nutrition intake...if they don't agree with her, just don't let her have them.

I agree with most.....stop feeding your dog ice cubes. They aren't really necessary and there are lots of other treats your dog can enjoy. No one really wants to clean up that mess--do they? :) Good Luck!
