I think animals will find dark and snug places to sleep because my dog sleeps under the bed or under clothes in the closet. My cat though willl sleep under the covers where it is dark and warm and snug, just the way they like it

As Far as I know, this could be tottaly normal. However... it could a problem. attempt to lure your cat out from under the bed. then, look over him and make sure he dosent have any pysical damage. then, if the prolem continues, call the vet. but it could be just because your cat is shy.

My cat Buddy, and me new kitten Bella, love to sleep or just lie under things. If I can't find Buddy I just stick my hand under the bed or the couch and I feel somethings soft and furry. They are happy and comfortable there so I don't see any harm in it. My cat Grease loves to be up high or on top of things. Their different personalities are so funny!

cats like their hiding spaces. it provides safety and comfort while your cat catches a few z's. if your cat is hiding under the bed beyond just sleeping and seems nervous around the house, then you'll want to calmly work w/them to adjust to their environment,
