Q: Why does my bunny eat all of her hay?
I change her chage often and as soon as new hay gets in there she eats it. Why? She winds up with very little left in there to go potty on, any ideas?

HAY is for eating. If your bunny is an adult, she should be getting timothy hay. You can use other things for bedding. Its great that she is eating hay, its great for bunnies.

Jill is absolutely right. Hay isn't for bedding, it's for her to eat. For bedding I recommend recycled paper cat litter (with no perfume smells), because it is cheaper and shredded newspaper. Smores loves to run through all the shredded paper!

Yes, again, rabbits eat their hay, it isn't for bedding. I recommend buying a litterbox and some rabbit litter if you want her to use it as a litterbox.
