Q: Why do people who abuse or kill their pets get such little jail time?

Killing a human you could get life why only two years for killing or seriously injuring a pet or animal.

They seem to be getting alittle stricter than before on animal abusers, but not enough!! They just don't seem to consider the life of a animal is just as important than a human.

Thats what I want to know! It seems like the courts would rather see money a lot of the time than have the offender actually serve jail time. It stinks.

Apparently some believe that animals lives are expendable. What the system doesn't understand is that those who kill animals purposely usually aren't that far off from harming a human being. If you read about serial killers they almost all started off torturing animals. Sometimes I wish there were vigilante groups that would handle the justice of these abused animals....grrr!
