The Zootoo bird list is all birds ILLEGAL to keep as pets. It is all USA native birds which are illegal to keep in Captivity (unless you have a Fish &WildLife Permit!
This list should state Canary, Finch, Budgie, Cockatiel, Lovebird, Caique, Pionus, Amazon, Cockatoo, Macaw, African Grey, Conure etc etc.

Wow . I didn't know that. You should e-mail zootoo and let them know what you think about this. You would think that they would list common houseshold birds.

Maybe they list those birgs for people who have that permit, so they can specify the breed they have?

It is illegal to own wildlife *native to your area* without a permit. For example, I can not own Red Eared Slider Turtles in my area, but they are widely sold as pets in other parts of the US.
