Doesn't seem like our legislators are that interested in this area.

I occasionly watch the house bills and what's going on in my state via their website. There is sometimes a bill on the table which is the perfect time to email your appropriate people. I recently contacted them about a horse meat issue. They were slaughtering horses to ship their meat overseas. Gross!!! Anyway, sometimes the puppy mill issue comes up. It's worth watching.

Are you being specific as to what you are asking them to do? Have you made an appointment to talk to your representative about your issues?

I believe its your assembly. They will not typically listen to just one or two people. Rally a group together and let them know if they dont act, you'll vote for someone who will.
