I would love to go to Norway but think I am a chicken to fly so far. Our relatives would pick us up in Oslo. My husband is some other "foreign" heritage and has no intrest in Norway. He thinks lefse is cardboard. uffda

Some place warm--no, the animals will not be coming with us. They will go to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

I don't have the money to travel much but I did take a short trip to the ND badlands this summer. My cats stayed with my dad as they don't enjoy car rides.

None planned. I don't travel with my pets so in essence I don't travel. Though when the rest of the family travels, I am their pet sitter. I don't mind one bit. My animals keep me from spending money I don't have.

My Kitty is used to traveling in a car. The usual way I travel.

Depending on circumstances, for trips by car, with travel up to a week and a stay in hotels, I will give serious thought to bringing my cat. Many hotels are "animal friendly." Otherwise, a family member or friend will come by to feed her while I am away.

However, she is an older girl, age 20, and I don't want to have her left alone in my home for more than a week, with just stop-overs to feed her. My other cat was euthanized 9 moths ago, so there will be no company for Kitty now if I am away. I feel it will be better for her emotionally to be with me. Physically, she is fine for travel.

We do enjoy the ride! :)
