Q: Where Can I Get A Doggie Birthday Cake?

Yesterday on the 4th was Skitters birthday I wanted to buy her a doggie birthday cake but I had no idea where I could find one. There is a doggie treat bakery that is local here in town that I know of but I have never been in there and as far as I know they don't do doggie cakes. I could have made one myself but I had no idea where to start with that. So I would like to know so I can have one for her next year where I can buy a doggie birthday cake? and also it would be nice to know where I can buy a kitty birthday cake as well so I can get one for Teddy in august for her birthday?

happy birthday, skitters! and i haven't a clue if anyone even makes them professionally, but you could always make your own: www.dog-treat-recipe-exchange.com/dog_birthday_cake_recipes.html
when i was little my mom would make my dog a small meatloaf cake, just w/no onions. however, as long as you don't get any w/bakers chocolate in it, you can always go w/a people cake. i don't think a little cake ever hurt anyone.

I always just baked my own! I usually tweeked human cake recipes and often did things like add a lot less sugar, flavor with honey and use whole wheat flower, and drizzle with a little carob instead of chocolate :-)

Look up 'Three Dog Bakery' on the internet. Use their store locator button. They make doggie treats and cakes. There might be one near you.

Good luck!
