Q: Where can I donate household items for local shelters?

Does anyone know of a thrift shop in the St.Louis MO area that takes donations of household items, clothes, etc. for local shelters.I would rather donate knowing the profits will benefit a local shelter.

A thrift store is a popular source of income for many non-profits. Call your supporting shelter and rescue. If they don't have one they can probably point you to one that does...........Dennis

Many shelters hold annual yard or tag sales and all of the profit will go to the shelter. I agree wth the previous answer. You should pick a shelter that you would like to help and contact them. They will often pick up the donations and use them in their annual tag sale fundraiser.
