Q: what's safe for dogs

me and my friend are making animal toy and I don't know what to stuff chew toys with

It's really nice to know you are taking time to make toys for your dogs. I think a lot depends on the size of the dog when determining what's appropriate materials but you don't want to include anything that the dog could shred and swallow -- possibly choking.

I would think polyfill would be safe. You want to avoid anything that's a choking hazar.d

I think that a fake lambs wool is best for the cover, and maybe a cotton inside. Our dog chews them apart to get to the squeeker, and then ends up swallowing strings........be thoughful of that. Good luck!

I would just shove some cottoen inside and around the squeaky toy!

it's less about what you stuff them with and more about what you use to make them. Regular polyfill is ok for stuffing them. Canvas and extra thick fake lambs wool are the best covers. You want a fabric that doesn't shred. It's the threads that can be dangerous.
