Q: What's happening here?

Momba

This used to be a user friendly site where we could share our joys, sorrows, experiences and advice. Now all I seem to get is aggravation. Can't view my friends' jounals when I click on them, can't post any journals, either. I think I've reached my limit for now. I think I need a break and will check back to see if they've made the zoo experience a better one like they said they would. I can't just leave here because I'd miss all my friends way too much, but I am tired of dealing with it for now. Email me or zoomail me if things get better before I check back. Thanks!

I doubt Pet360 thinks this purchase of zootoo was such a bargain afterall, or a sound business decision. To keep on top of all the spam would require a couple IT people full time employment. Shame on zootoo for not providing full disclosure of the problems managing this site.

mz i am serious you should write and sugest that. sounds good to me. they tried a captua but they got around it. they are trying. and sharon encourage people to be patient. they have even changed towns that they come from. i haven't had trouble in posting pics or ans questions. give them a chance

Couldn't Zootoo eliminate the spam by requiring NEW members to get pre-approved before allowing any posts? This way, "veteran" Zootooers could continue posting without interruption and anyone trying to SPAM would not get approved (or would be discouraged from the process)--hence, there would be no ridiculous so-called BLOGS from spammers.

It's a sad thing that so many people are getting irritated
with the Zoo as Momba expresses she is. As well as I
have read other comments from people in agreement.
There are many past loyal people who we know longer
see on the site. With all hope they will resolve the problems
soon as it is a fun, informative site.

please everyone be patient. they are trying to get rid of the spammers who are taking up all there space. they are trying to get us back to normal. they are not trying to change us just fix us.

I don't know, Kevin, but I'm ready to find another site. That sign up form is ridiculous. I actually do have a company website for my small consulting company, and I guess I would be the accounting department since I handle the finances, but I don't feel the need to share my business or more personal info with zootoo or Pet360. I know they're trying to stop the spam blogs, but other sites manage to do it without all this prying.

I just tried to upload a short test blog. I got to the end and then ran into that sign up part with all the questions about my e-mail address and information required screen. So quit at that point. Does anyone know of a different pet website we can move over to?

Just been so darn busy lately, haven't had time to share in all of the aggrevation...or is it aggravation? Whatever it is, I have been having problems with ZT for a year or more. It all started when they lost all my pets along with all my pet histories. I wouldn't have minded if they had lost some of the bad photos I posted. I have since tried to upload new photos and blogs but it is really hard to do and it takes way too long to accomplish. One reason why I have not pursued putting all my cats back on here. Not everything is the fault of ZT however...I have been working ALOT! You hear about the high unemployment...well that doesn't apply here in ND.

Momba and I have been in touch over the aggrevation of the taking over for the new owners. I was 'lost' for quite awhile (again) but now am back on although journals are vanishing. The 360 contact I have said the old owners did not leave any kind of a 'manual' so to speak and these new owners are trying to rid the problems without any instructions on how to do so. It is very frustrating but at least those awful pop up ads are gone. I absolutely understand the need to take a break and see how the new owners clean up the site. We have all become friends here and I hope that will continue : )
