The Ted loves as a "treat" catnip toys. To avoid the weight gain, this is a great alternative. But if you are looking for a food treat, I would go with the Greenies. And believe it or not...and it probably isn't the best, but if you have a finicky cat...try small bits of dog food. Use with moderation, but if switch it up you may be surprised. The Ted loves dog food and this is a picky cat.

Our cat likes the flavored greenies. You should give them a try. Ofcoarse one of our cats won't even look at them.

My vet said to avoid the commerical treats such as Pounce. They are full of dye's and can also make a cat constipated. We don't give our cats any treats at all now.

I use Greenies for our 2 cats but they only get a treat when they do something good-- either sit/lie down instead of jumping on the table, or coming when I call them, or when I'm brushing them (since they don't like being brushed). They get the idea fast and are now pretty well trained.

have used many foods and like them all,I go for quality so sometimes they are pricey. Also the cats(8 of them) slow down from eating a certain brand thats when i make a slow change over and they seem to like it when I do that. Royal Canin-Indoor and Eagle Pack -Indoor are what we usually use for dry. I have to give them l-lysine so i give it in wet EVO once a day

I like Pounce kitty treats, but limit my cats to 2 per day. I think any are ok as long as you are not over doing it.

Greenies is supposed to be good for their teeth. I give my cat Hills Feline T/D as a treat.... shhh, don't tell them it's actually cat food. T/D is a dental cleaning food and since it's food rather than treat, it's typically healthier and way cheaper per ounce in the long run than buying tiny little treat bags.
