Q: What type of treats should i get my dog?

Some of the treats we've gotten our Black Lab have made him throw up so we don't want him to get sick again. Any advice?

Try to keep them wholesome and natural. Also, you might want to stick with white meat chicken, steak or other meats. These can be easily on the dog's stomach. Too many can also affect the dog's digestive tract.

I agree with Pia on this one. My dog is a mix - lab/we don't know ... but he gets sick on stroe bought treats. He was finally diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis - so I just use real meat - like Pia says. Good Luck with your dog.... I also bake him treats - from the Bubba Rose Biscuit Cookbook and the Three Dog Bakery Cookbook - try their German Shepherd Pie - your dog will die for it!
