Q: What Pet Insurance Do You Have and Recommend?
There are a number of pet insurance companies out there, most are pretty pricey. With three dogs, I need to find something that has good coverage and the claims are easily processed that is affordable and where it covers a lot of meds and health problems that I may run into in the future. I have read some bad things where people have had a tough time get reimbursed for expenses so I want to make sure I choose a reputable company. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I've never purchased pet insurance, because when I looked into it, the conditions my dog had weren't covered (hip dysplasia & arthritis), and it would have been a waste of money.
Others may have had a different experience though. It probably depends on what you want covered. Good luck.

I did have pet insurance for a few years and didn't really find it to be worth it. The premiums I had been paying were way more than even the trip to the emergency vet hospital. I have 5 dogs so the premium was pretty expensive.

Shelter care is pretty good! It is cheaper if your dogs are all fixed and microchipped!
