I usually buy "Frosty Paws" for the dogs at the shelter during the summer time. Most if not all really seem to enjoy it, that is once they get past the initially "what the heck is this?" I hope that this helps.

My dog doesn't like ice cream--too cold. But he does like yogurt, pretty much any flavor.

My girls usually get vanilla or they share whatever I'm having. They love all flavors!

Mine are greyhounds and they like vanilla. I tried to give them Frosty Paws, but they won't eat those. They also like Vanilla yogurt.

I give my dogs yogurt every night I get a bag of frozen blueberries and defrost some and add the yogurt, it healthy & the dogs love it I get the low-fat plain or sometimes vanilla & when I have ice cream if there is no chocolate in it they can clean the bowl it's really not good for them, the dog ice cream is awful, I know their tastes are different than ours but I know my dogs have a sweet tooth & a fe of us did a taste test on the dog ice cream it tasted like watered frozen milk & is very expensive, my 3 would rather have an ice cube.

Dogs, like people, have very different tastes, but I just can't imagine any dog not liking any flavor of ice cream!

Dogs have different tastes just as we do. I would die for a bowl of ice cream right now...my husband could easily pass on it.

I think it really depends on your dog's taste...or possibly she doesn't like frozen treats. I have one fussy dog & one who mainly couldn't care what you gave her, she'll eat it (unless it's raw veggies).

Back in the 80's before I had all this information overload on the health and welfare of pets, I used to feed our dog, Spike, people ice cream because he absolutely moaned for it. Not just beg, mind you, MOANED!

So one night I was fixing myself a bowl and decided to give it to him instead. By the time I had scoped out another for myself, and was settled back in front of the tv to enjoy mine, he was already finished with his and back moaning for more!

After that, I started buying him ice milk the same time I was buying myself regular ice cream and learned not to put his down until I was ready to leave the kitchen.

(It never seemed to hurt him)
