Dogs shouldn't have too much people ice cream so when I give my dog a Frosty Paws and he decides not to eat it, I add a couple of spoonfuls of vanilla soft serve on top. He eats it right up. I have also made my dog homemade dog ice cream. Here is the recipe: mix a container (I think 32 oz.) of plain yogurt with a banana, some peanut butter, and a bit of honey or apple sauce. Mix together in a blender, fill into containers, freeze until solid, and serve. I put it into those little plastic punch cups. It makes 4. My dog likes it once in awhile. It is cheaper to make than buying Frosty Paws.

Some of our grocery stores carry frosty paws. I know wal mart sells them. They are in the freezer section near the ice cream. My dogs love them. Especially in the summer.

Some dogs may not care for the taste of dog ice cream, just like some prefer one kind of dog food over another. My dog really likes Happy Paws ice cream. Whenever she hears the freezer door open she gets up, hoping to get Lucky Paws ice cream.
