Q: what kind of food do kittens like best?

The best type of food depends on the age of a kitten.  A kitten under 8 weeks needs a little supplement to help it grow.  I give older kittens a small can a day and a dish of dry food (the type for kittens). Try to get the best food that you can afford. The larger pet supply stores will have a selection that you can compare in the store. They also have staff that might be able to help you make the selection

depending on your area of the state's what is available. My kittens like about most anything that is soft to chew. I agree to watch the contents listed on the bag and try to stay high in protein. Some breeds do not tolerate "sea" or fish flavors.
