Q: What kind of brush or comb do you use when grooming your small pet?

I use a fine tooth comb and a soft bristle cat brush on my guinea pigs.

no definitley use brushes combs ect. made for grooming ginea pigs I am sure someone at a petco or petsmart could show you where the grooming supplies are and if not you could always get them on line.

you can use them as long as they arent hard . I dont think there is a brush especially for g pigs just make sure its not to hard and do it gentely. My daughter used a regular comb on hers.

The single best brush I've ever found and used was the Lawrence Guinea Pig Brush (you can find it at the bottom of the page at this link: tinyurl.com/m5st33). It has soft, gentle wire bristles and works beautifully on all breeds of guinea pigs.
I've tried the Guinea Pig Petting Brush from Pets International Ltd. (www.zootoo.com/smallpets_grooming/guineapigpettingbrush), but was not nearly as happy with it.
