What kind of breed do you think my new dog is
I'm not positive what breed Barney is. We got him from the humane society, and they said he's a schnauzer and papillon mix. But his papers said minniture schnauzer. And my Aunt says Schnauzer and westie. I just really need help! If you need more pics of him go to my user (hoppymoppy).

His head reminds me of a Scottish terrier. They can also come in that color. But his body does look schnauzer-ish. So, my guess is a Scottie Schnauzer:). Of course, it's only a guess, and that's all you are ever going to get, is guesses, unless it's important enough to you to have him DNA tested.

First of all, he is ADORABLE!
Second of all, I'm just repeating everyone, but clearly snauzer with that coat and face. Although he may have something else in him, he is predominatly showing that. Also, what size is here? That could tell you if he's mini or not, although then again, his size could be a result of another breed mixed in.

He actually looks to me, like he might be Scotland terrier and schnauzer mix. He's got short legs and his coat looks like a scotty but he does have a few schnauzer characteristics.

looks like he has a lot of schnauzer in him!!! would look very cute with a schnauzer cut probably wouldnt be able to tell he was a mix!!! anyway glad he was rescued thats what is important!!! very cute!!!

Looks like a Schnauzer to me. Whatever he is the important thing is he is a rescue and he is loved. Best Wishes.

He looks like a Schnauzer with uncropped ears. Also the Schnauzer keeps the dark coloring unless clipped, then turns grey. If you want to keep the dark coloring, find someone to show you how to strip the coat without clipping
