Q: What is your favorite name for a dog?

I just told my daughter tonight that I want more dogs, all girls so I can name them Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Ginger and Cappachino. We love dogs and if I had a huge home and yard I would have a lot more than the three we now have. If I had male dogs I think I would name them Leonidas, Shakespear, Davinci and Darcy

I personally always use regular people-names, but some of the more rare ones. My two foster dogs are named Piper and Paige. My own dogs are named: Kerrigan, Jenna, Emmy, Drew, Milo, Noelle, Reese, Gwyneth and Tripp. They all have nicknames, of course, but I have always liked people names for dogs since they are my "kids"!

When I name a dog I try to name it for it's personality. We tend to lean toward military names. Why I do not know! Even our Pickle was named for the HMS(Her Majesties Ship) Pickle.
