:) Just a fun question, I am really curious. Or is there the most rare dog and cat breed? :)

The most rare dog breed last time I checked was the Norwegian Lundehund. Sarloos Wolfhounds are also very rare (they don't make good pets). New Guinea Singing Dogs are another extremely rare breed of dog.
For Cats, beats me. LOL

I knew that the Sphynx was relatively rare, but I didn't know the answer to your question. So, I found on www.petwalk.com (Sunday, 03 February 2008) that "The rarest cat breeds are Ashera, the Egyptian Mau, and the Sokoke."
The Ashera is actually a combination of the African Serval and Asian Leopard cats and is stated as being the most expensive (at around $20,000)!
