Sorry K. Spelling challenged on the best of days. Early in the morning doubly so. I have a hard enough time wiht English. When I get to Deutch I'm really lost.

Winner? Do you meen weener or wiener? Like daschundt?
My parents had a dog show up at their house, who almost immediately had two puppies. The mom was short, and looked like a really round beagle. When the pups grew, one was really short and long, like a basset, the other looked like a fox hound, with long legs. Daddy couldn't decide if he should call them Mike and Ike, or Shorty and Stretch. He comprimised and called the little one Shorty, and the big one Mike.
Since your dog will probably be 'long and drawn out', I sort of like Stretch. But really, I'd wait to see what his temperment is before I picked a name.
