Q: What is the best way to get a dog to learn tricks??

Bribing is not a good way to achieve behaviors. That is an accident waiting to happen. The dog will not perform unless you bribe him. Teach him by using one of many methods (see my journal) and then reward. Eventually, however, the dog should do it on cue without the use of a visible lure/reward.

Treats!!!! Get them to do what you want and then reward them with a treat. Give the command, and when they respond reward!
