Oxbow Cavy Cuisine or Zupreem G.Pig pellets is what Dr. Gregory Rich would recommend as a main diet. Timothy Hay is very important for their teeth as they are notorious for teeth problems. Alfalfa hay should only be given to very young G.Pigs if at all. They need the hay to grind down their teeth and keep good shape. Also, vitamin C tablets daily is necessary. The tablets are preferable than the water additive as you cannot guarantee that your little pig will drink its daily allotment of Vitamin C. Carrot treats, Veggies, Kale etc. are always good but shouldn't be the main source of nutrition. Also, lettuce isn't all that great nutritionally as it is mostly water. I hope this helps!
