My daughte gave her pig carrots. All other veggies gave him intestinal problems. Be careful.

My guinea pigs, Cinnamon and Ginger, used to love kale, carrots, oranges, broccoi spears, but hated Brussels sprouts.

Oxbow Cavy Cuisine or Zupreem G.Pig pellets is what Dr. Gregory Rich would recommend as a main diet. Timothy Hay is very important for their teeth as they are notorious for teeth problems. Alfalfa hay should only be given to very young G.Pigs if at all. They need the hay to grind down their teeth and keep good shape. Also, vitamin C tablets daily is necessary. The tablets are preferable than the water additive as you cannot guarantee that your little pig will drink its daily allotment of Vitamin C. Carrot treats, Veggies, Kale etc. are always good but shouldn't be the main source of nutrition. Also, lettuce isn't all that great nutritionally as it is mostly water. I hope this helps!

Fresh corn on the cob. After they eat the corn the core basically becomes a chew toy. Don't let it get too old and rank though

When I had guinea pigs they loves carrots, green peppers, lettuce and just about any other veggie you can think of. I don't believe any are harmful so just be creative and have fun with it. I am sure they will let you know what they like most.

When we had a guinea pig we were told that she had a vitamin C deficiency called scurvy. the remedy for this was green pepper which has a higher content of vitamin C than any other veggie or fruit!

Hay and plain guinea pig pellets are best and fresh veggies. I agree with the other post, stay away from alfafa.
