My cat is rolling around on the floor making this wierd sort of purring.talking noise. I just offered her dinner and she doesn't seem interested, though ate earlier.

Before my cats were spayed or neutered they were a trip. The females would back into my hand and rub. The males would howl. One of the benefits of spay/neuter is their crazy in heat antics will basically end. And you don't want to take the chance that you will somehow end up with kittens!

that does sound like a cat in heat to me. If she acts really obnoxious and rubs on things weird that's probably what is going on.

Have your cats been spayed or neutered? If not, off to the vet you go -- it's best for all parties involved. All of my cats have been spayed and neutered but your cat's behavior reminds me of my own cats' -- they do that -- it means they're happy and content. So, if your cats have in fact been spayed and neutered, you have no problem -- your cats are joyous.
