Q: What do you suggest for dog allergies?

My dog (part Rhodesian Ridgeback?) has allergies and is very itchy. She seems to get better as the weather gets colder. What products do you suggest? Thanks!

other then taking him to the vet for a shot try an aveno oatmeal bath and make sure it gets to the skin in warm water and let him soak and then rince. it is a temory reliever that may get you through to the cold weather

My Buddy has sever itching problems. He is on prescribed steroids and meds that are the same as benedryl, just prescription. He also has prescribed shampoo and conditioner but I also use oatmeal shampoo. Natural Balance L.I.D. is good for dogs with allergies because of the limited ingredients. Good Luck!

Sounds like seasonal allergies. I'd ask your veterinarian.
