if your dog is going into shock, s/he should get to a vet immediately and i'd assume s/he would have died from it otherwise. if they go into shock, their body temps fall drastically. shock is easily noted by pale/white gums. wrap him or her in a blanket and hold them close to your body to gradually raise their temp on your way to the vet.
but i don't think your dog is going into shock. instead, they're probably having a seizure. usually seizures do not cause the shaking and spasms most people relate to them. normally a seizure will cause you to basically black out, in so many words. you'll note a blank stare {or sometimes eyes closed} and they'll be completely immobilized, sometimes w/a twitch here and there.
there's a few things that can cause seizures, illness or other, but it's urgent you get to a vet to find out why and learn how to manage them.
when s/he goes into a seizure, do not touch him or her. try to keep your dog on their side and place pillows or blankets {none they can get tangled or suffocate in} around their body to keep them from hurting themselves. you don't want your dog on his/her back in case they choke.

You need to take your dog to a vet to see why this is happening and then if this happens again I would say right when it happens call the emergency vet.
