I just saw a dog show on AnimalPlanet (Good Dog U) about this - it suggested breaking down the bath process into little steps, so for a few days give your dog treats for just going into the bathroom. Then turn on the water and give him a treat. Then put him in the tub and give him a treat. They said some dogs might need awhile just getting used to the different steps. They also said to massage your dog so he gets used to the feeling before trying to bathe him.

i would suggest to tell him that the bathroom and bath tub is a good place...by putting fiid and treats and maybe even giving him breakfast or dinner in there...then just go really slow with the water and soap!!!!

Take him in the bathroom don't say anything about a bath and put a rawhide and treats in the bathroom and alot of his other things soon enough he will have no chioce but to go in there alot and when he is in there and you want to give him a bath walk in and shut the door behind you if you do it out side you may have to put his leash on him.
