Q: What color is my Chihuahua?

Just curious... is there a specific name for the color of my Chihuahua? I've been asked her color and I am not sure what it is or what the specific name is. Any suggestions?

If she was a MIniature Pinscher she'd be a chocolate! Very pretty girl

I would have said chocolate but she could be considered red.

Maija is chocolate and white. AKC recognizes 29 color/combinations and chocolate and white is one of them.

Her basic color is referred to as either red or brown depending on the breed. Not sure which is the correct term for chis. She has rust points. (and white toes <g>) I love the picture of her holding her little baby and looking straight at the camera. ;-)

I think you should ask your vet doctor the next time you see what he/she has to say about it!
