I heard that i can buy some type of liquid breath freshener for dogs to pour into their water that will make their breath smell fresher. Does anyone have an exact name for the liquid product?

I haven't seen liquid, but I've seen breath mints for dogs at walmart. You could try looking online.

Ebalka is right, I used the CET, (CIT?)... cleared up my previous boxer's breath within 2 days, it was amazing. I think it was about $8 a tube, but it lasts a LONG time!!

Anything GREENIE is helpful for good healthy dog breath too. Along with the other suggestions. Greenies are good to chew to clean the teeth.

The best way to keep you pets teeth clean (to kill the bacteria which caused bad breath) is to brush them with CET toothpaste made for cats and dogs. Chewing raw beef or bison shank bones will chip off tartar and calculus, and keep the surface free of gunk. Nothing in the water is going to remove the hardened gunk on the teeth. That is like never brushing your teeth and just using a breathmint. It doesn't work. Spend your money on a good brush and paste and save yourself the pointless water treatments. Dental bacteria can come loose into the blood stream, they set up residence in the heart and other major organs, which can lead to congestive heart faliure and countless other health problems. Do what had been proven to work, not something you hear about or see on TV. If it worked why don't they make it for people??
