The shelter told me she was mixed with a Basenji and a pitt bull. I am just curious to see what other people think ..

Your dog could be my dog's long lost twin! Mine is Shar Pei, German Shepherd and possibly Lab.

I think the shelter has it right. The ears definitely look like a basenji and she has the jaw structure of a pit. You could research both the breeds (and other breeds suggested) and see what she has in common with them. what ever mix she happens to be, she is gorgeous!

I think the shelter was right as well, you could always buy a DNA Kit for $49.00 off ebay (it should say its from Knoxville, TN). It's from Biopet. Its harmless Q-tip style DNA test and they have your results back within 3 weeks!
