Q: What brand of cat food is the best??

My cat LOVES Whiska's Purrfectly Fish. Its like kitty crack to her. And, it looks like sashimi to me. I would eat it myself. Cats are obligate carnivores, so a diet that is meaty is best. Always check the ingredients to make sure meat is the first ingredient and also check with your vet for their recommendations.

To be honest... anything you get at walmart isn't good at all. If those are your absolute only options, just go with whatever your cat likes the best and stick with it. DO NOT just buy whatever is on sale because you can cause a lot of GI upset in your kitties. Choose a brand that fits your budget and that your cat seems to like the best and stick with it.

All I would say is if you have a male cat, make sure you check for Ash content. Male cats are prone to urinary tract infections whcih can make it so they cannot urinate and eventually the can die from it. The more Ash in the cat food, the worse it is for the male cats. I have 3 male cats and 1 female so I buy the best. But if you cant afford the best I would say to stay away from the cheapest stuff like meow mix. I would go with Friskies for it is actually a purena brand. Thats what I used to feed my cats but one of my cats started getting too big so I switched to Purena one. But Purena is the only brand i will feed my cat.
