I will be moving and would like to take my hamsters with me.

I have traveled cross country with 2 cats,a bird,a guinea pig,and 4 betta fish plus four people in the car.We keep Piglet(GP)with his favorite hidey house and he was calm the whole trip.We keep Sweet P.(bird)covered and as long as he was covered he was fine.Have there favorite toys and hideys in there cage to make them feel calm and not as stressed. When you stop check on your pets and make shore they are ok and give them a drink and/or a treat.Hope I was of some help.

Traveling with hamsters should be no problem at all. Just make sure they are in a secure carrier so they can't get lose. When my ex-husband and I used to commute from New York to Tennessee, we would travel with 2 birds, 2 pet mice, 2 cats and a dog.

When i moved with my small animals i tried very hard to keep their "world" from changing. I kept them in their cage as much as possible and I just moved the cage from he car to the hotel to the car into the new house. Do be careful of extreme temperature changes! make sure your car is cool enough or warm enough.
