What are the best dog foods available- quality and budget friendly?

I recently discovered the appalling truth of many commercial dog foods available at most supermarkets. I had no idea many companies actually used euthanized pets from shelters in the dog food. That alone makes me sick. I've also tried to further educate myself on the nutritional needs of dogs and learned the the current food we use is high in non-nutritional fillers. I want to switch to a high-quality food for our 2y/o pit mix, but I also have to keep the price reasonable. Any suggestions?

Yes that is why they get so sick. Flint River Ranch Food is all organic. I have 11 cats an that is the only food for them. The other companies also put in road kill...

I have fed my pit bull Canidae, Innova and California Natural and had great results. I hear great things about Innova EVO as well but the bull breeds are kinda known to have sensitive stomachs and EVO is pretty rich. Just try some premiums and see what works for you.
