Q: Were there pets on the U.S. Airway plane that crashed?

I was just wondering if anyone knew? I would hate to think about someone's poor pet drowning. I can't imagine knowing my pet was in a cage in cargo when I was trying to get out. Sends shivers up my spine more than the cold water would.

I certainly hope not. I think putting a pet in cargo is horrible anyway. The temperature is not regulated and it's very traumatic for an animal. They did a special on it once on some show like 20/20 - put a camera in the cage with a cat - it was terrible to see, I can't imagine how the poor animal felt.

Nothing has been mentioned. I hope this means there were none ~ thank God ~ aboard, & not just " people " first...

I haven't seen any mention of any pets on board.
